TekWorx.Digital eXperience Lab (DX Lab)

A mentored digital career experience program by TekWorx.Digital

We help aspiring digital professionals gain real-world project experience – and build a portfolio that shows future employers what they contributed and what they can do.

Parents... Turn your child’s curiosity about Information Systems, AI, Digitalization, and Digital Transformation into projects they can build, test, and explain. Through guided work in AI, automation, web technologies, or digital growth, DX Lab helps young learners explore how technology solves practical problems. They learn professional workflows, develop their own solutions, execute startup ideas, and build portfolio evidence that shows their contribution.

01 / WHO IT’S FOR

For the young person asking, “What can I do with what I’ve learned from online courses or bootcamps?”

Maybe your child is experimenting with AI, exploring how apps work, or imagining a better way to do an everyday task. DX Lab gives that curiosity a clear project direction, mentor feedback, and a process for turning an idea into something they can demonstrate.

DX Lab is designed for students and young digital aspirants, initially around ages 14–22, with parents or guardians involved in the journey.

It is designed to help them explore a digital career, practice working to a brief, and build something they can discuss beyond a list of courses or certificates.

Participation will depend on the learner’s readiness, schedule, location, and the suitability of the project.

02 / PRACTICAL VALUE

The X is for eXperience.

DX, for us, stands for Digital eXperience. The emphasis is on applying what you learn: understanding a problem, exploring possible approaches, creating a deliverable, responding to feedback, and explaining the result. Digital transformation is part of what participants explore through that experience.

The program draws on TekWorx.Digital’s practical project experience. Mentors will guide the work while participants make decisions, test ideas, and learn to explain what they have done.

The value is in the process as much as the finished project: clearer communication, better judgment, stronger documentation, and a more informed sense of which digital work interests them.

04 / THE LEARNING JOURNEY

From interest to a project you can present.

  1. 01

    Start with a Fit Discussion

Enquire about enrollment and tell us about the learner’s interests, current skills, location, and availability. We’ll discuss the right track and package, then agree on scope, fees, scheduling, and participation requirements.

  2. 02

    Discover and Prepare

The journey begins with an assessment and an individual development plan. The learner and mentor agree on learning goals and a project direction, then work on foundations such as communication, research, documentation, and responsible tool use.

  3. 03

    Observe, Build, and Improve

Participants will observe selected professional workflows, work from a structured brief, and improve their output through mentor feedback. Learning projects will use controlled environments and appropriate data.

  4. 04

    Present and Document

The learner will explain the problem, their approach, what they created, and what they learned. The final step is to document their contribution so others can understand what they actually did.

05 / PORTFOLIO EVIDENCE

Evidence of Learning, with the Contribution Made Clear.

The program aims to help each participant complete at least one meaningful portfolio project.

The Digital eXperience Portfolio Pack may include a project case study, mentor evaluation, skills assessment, and Certificate of Completion. Exact deliverables will be agreed before enrollment.

Each case study should make the participant’s role, mentor support, and project scope clear. Portfolio materials must be approved for sharing and protect confidential information.

A mentor recommendation will be provided only when performance warrants it.

06 / TRUST & APPROACH

Built on the work of TekWorx.Digital.

DX Lab is a talent-development initiative by TekWorx.Digital, an operating Cebu-based digital transformation company working across areas such as websites / web apps, eCommerce and Digital Marketing, Ad Tech, GovTech, and managed technology services.

The program turns lessons from that work into supervised learning challenges. The BETA launch centers on founder-led mentorship, with project scope matched to the learner’s ability.

For younger participants, the program includes parent or guardian consent, school-first scheduling, progress checkpoints, and controlled project access. These arrangements must be in place before participation begins.

AI will be used as a learning aid. Participants will be expected to check its output, apply their own judgment, and explain anything they submit.
